Largest Divis in Jockstocks History Over the course of time, some stocks earn extra large dividends. Sometimes we get large dividends due to a stat entry error, but those are generally corrected. Even some legitimate dividends may seem quite large at times when viewing the stats that generated them. The player's projections may have been low at the time or, as in our early days, sometimes our formulas allowed for some extra large numbers. This page, then, is simply an archive of our largest legitimate dividends in our history and will be updated or added to as time goes on. He even lost 2 fumbles! This dividend came before minimum projections and came in a 41-38 49er loss to Cincinnati. 44.96% 12/19/06 Dwight Freeney Carson Palmer- meet Dwight Freeney ..a lot. 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles later and the Colts have a win and Dwight has a huge divi. 42.32% 6/11/07 Woody Austin Eagles do a divi good. So do rounds without bogeys. Do both while earning more than your year's projections in one tournament and you get an all time high divi. 42.17% 10/23/06 Ronde Barber 2 touchdowns by one player happens every NFL Sunday...but not when you play defense. It happened in a 38-23 MNF Packer defeat of da Bears. 39.39% 12/12/02 Mike York 2 PPGs on then-low projections in a 4-1 Oilers defeat of Carolina earned this one. 39.07% 1/2/05 Keith Bullock 13 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a rumble for a TD- Keith was a busy boy in a 24-19 Titans defeat of the Lions. 38.79% 2/8/06 Mike Richards A hat trick generally makes for a solid dividend. When 2 of the goals are shorthanded, well.... 38.36% 4/25/06 John Madden One wouldn't expect a large old NFL coach to make this list. Well he didn't, but the hockey player with the same name had 3 goals...2 of them shorthanded to earn this divi. 37.87% 11/15/04 Kevin Carter 11 tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble made for a solid afternoon...but not enough to keep the Titans from losing to da Bears 19-17. 36.62% 12/12/02 Eric Daze 3 goals, 1 a PPG, was enough to help Chicago beat the Rangers 4-3..but not enough to take York out as the top divi on this day. 36.54% 5/23/05 Billy Mayfair His day stat wise wasn't much- 3 birds, 2 bogeys. But for all the tourneys he plays, it's very rare for him to finish 2nd and earn over $600,000. 35.79% 8/27/03 Paul Konerko Paul had been in a long slump prior to this 2 homer, 4 rbi day. 2 runs and a double rounded out this performance in a White Sox win. 35.47% 10/23/06 Joe Durant 7 birds, 0 bogeys....and over a year's projections in earnings will kick out a significant dividend- a split holder's delight! 35.26% 12/15/03 Thomas Jones Another divi that seems too large given the performance- 134 yards and a TD in a Tampa Bay win over Houston. 34.87% 5/16/05 Ted Purdy A 5 bird/0 bogey day is sweet enough..but when it results in a $1.1mil payout for winning the Byron Nelson you get to make this list! 34.77% 12/13/04 Takeo Spikes 7 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble helped Takeo and his Bills defeat his old team, the Browns, 37-7. 34.46% 12/19/04 Keith Brooking 7 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble (identical stats as Spikes the week before) earned Brooking this divi in a 34-31 Falcons overtime win over the Panthers. 33.50% 8/29/05 Brad Faxon Brad shot 9 birds and 9 pars move up from 10th to take the win in the Buick Championship, earning $774,000 for his efforts. 33.45% 11/14/05 Craig Conroy Goals may be more frequent in the new NHL, but a hat trick is still quite special. With one goal shorthanded, Craig added 2 assists while projected for only 10 goals all season, and he earns his way to this list. 33.36% 4/8/05 DeShawn Stevenson 25 points and 4 3's is nothing real special..but when you've hardly been playing and your projections are, well, wimpy.... 33.05% 11/28/05 Jason Taylor Jason and Vonnie Holliday helped make for a long day for Kerry Collins. Jason not only sacked Kerry 3 times, but got him in the endzone for a safety. 32.81% 2/9/06 Niko Kapanen A true hat trick earned Niko this divi- an even strength goal, a PPG, AND a SHG. 32.63% 7/31/06 Corey Pavin A wire to wire win meant big gains for Corey here- the biggest coming when he earned nearly his entire year's projection in one day and added an eagle to boot. 32.28% 11/21/05 Alex Brown The Bears D sacked Jake Delhomme 8 times on this day- Alex got 2 of them and was involved in 2 others. With only 1 in the first half of the season, 2 in one game earned him this top 25 all time divi. 31.23% 10/11/04 Ed Reed Gotta watch those Sunday night games- ya just never know. A sack, a forced fumble, and a touchdown earned Reed this tasty divi. 31.19% 9/22/03 Jespar Parnevik 1st of 3 probably too-high divis for some low projection golfers who finished high in this tournament. Jespar finished in a tie for 5th shooting a 67 to earn $146,000. 31.06% 7/24/06 Chris DiMarco Chris may have fallen short of winning the British Open, but his 2nd place finish still earned him more than his entire year's projection here. 31.03% 1/12/05 Morris Peterson 37 points, 7 3's, and 2 blocked shots highlighted Mo's night and earned this tasty divi. 30.82% 8/1/05 Robert Allenby 6 birds/1 bogey is a nice day. Toss in an ace to that helps you earn 4th place and $220,000 gets you a sweet dividend. 29.86% 9/22/03 Frank Lickliter II Frank finished in a tie for 2nd in the same tournament- shooting a 66 and earning $298,667. 29.05% 11/28/05 Vonnie Holliday 3 sacks and a forced fumble is a good day for a lineman- and when it happens after he's only had 1 sack all year before this, it's a large divi. 27.93% 1/1/03 Mike Dunham Low projections on a lightly scheduled New Years Eve helped Dunham and his 30 save shutout make the list- it was a 2-0 Ranger shutout of the Hurricanes. 27.91% 10/3/05 K.J. Choi Choi shot 8 birds and 2 bogs in the final round of the Chrysler Classic- enough to earn him the victory and $900,000. Every pro athlete has both their good days and their bad days.
