Terms to know

Commission
Whenever a stock is bought or sold, there is a transaction charge for making the purchase or sale. That transaction charge is referred to as commission.

Dividends
Dividends are price increases added to stock values according to how an athlete's actual performance compares to their projected performance. Dividends (divis for short) are released at approximately 8am eastern time daily and affect any listed stock in active sports.

IPO
IPO is the abbreviation for Initial Public Offering. When a stock is first made available to be purchased, it is said to have been IPOd.

Projections
Each of our 6 sports will have sets of statistical categories that will be in play. Each listed stock (IPO) will have expected levels to reach in each of those statistical categories. Those expectations are referred to as their projections.

Column headings by page
Some headings will be quite obvious, but just for ease of explanation we'll work our way through all of them on each of the following pages.

Portfolio
Name: Name of Athlete
Symbol: Athlete's 5 letter symbol or ticker
Quantity: Number of shares of that athlete you currently own
Price: Current price of that athlete's stock
Price Change: Dollar amount the stock has changed since purchase
Average Paid: Average price you paid for that stock (sometimes all shares were not purchased at once)
Net Change: Percentage change stock has made since purchase
Total Value: Current dollar value of all shares you currently own

Market Listings
Name: Name of Athlete
Symbol: Athlete's 5 letter symbol or ticker
Daily Change: Overall percentage change stock has made since last reset
Daily Movement: Overall dollar amount stock has changed since last reset
Last Divi Value: Last dividend stock received
Share Price: Current price of that athlete's stock
